If anyone is wondering about whether the BE coaching XC performance roadshows are worth the money or not, then I have just had a super day at West Wilts, some really good instruction, and learnt more about eventing than I think I knew in the first place!

B has girly swat status as he behaved impeccably and jumped everything, as asked, first time and no poles down. Good pony!

Sounds like a perfect day

I was in the group with Caroline Moore who was v good. There is a suite of people who teach on them though.

L_L - although this is the second jump lesson in 4 days, the last one I had was back in Jan, and the one before that was the last Bill clinic at LC I organised, so I don't do this regularly!! That was also, wait for it, the second ever XC lesson I have had on B and was indoors using poles!! The first one was in my first season eventing him....

I have to say, anyone thinking of going on one really should if they can - I am seriously thinking of trying to get to an outdoor XC one.

God your change of name confused me - had to check your profile to see who you were!!

No pics sadly as went all on my tod (but met some lovely people, was in a great group with some really WOW horses).

Emma is out again tomorrow just to be totally sure he is spot on for Aldon, so thanks for putting me on to her.

Glad you enjoyed it and found Caroline very helpful. We are lucky as she is about 45 minutes away from us and runs loads of training at the centre she is based at, given me lots of help.

If she was closer to me I'd book her for lessons like a shot - she was very focussed and made me be much more disciplined about little things, which is exactly what I need. Shame she is so far away.

LOL, an hour I could cope with - travel that far to lessons already. I think nigh on 3 hours is pushing it a bit for lessons sadly!!
