Oddly enough, the bum wasn't numb at all!

The Coast-to-Coast ride across northern Scotland is also run as a holiday (but staying in hotels instead of tents), by a trekking centre called Highlands Unbridled.

Sounds really interesting. Did you take your own horses or use theirs?

Their horses! The Spooky Pony would probably spook at the heather, and hurl itself off the Precipice!

It was fabulous...don't like midges, though! And ticks! But that's tents for you. The weather was unbelievable, for Scotland.
