Does anyone use the more expensive coat oils on their horse for shows eg. Supreme Products Glistening Oil and do you find them any better than good old baby oil?
Think it’s the right pH for human and horse skin.I imagine the pH of baby oil would be off
Bear in mind that some horses skin can be exceptionally irritated by baby oil.

I must check my sources, neither are horses I would have thought ?5.5
Veg / olive / water etc are not 5.5
How do you use it as mud protection? Like on their heels or all through their coat?I only use baby oil (after testing ) in winter as mud protection.
I would be cautious of using it in summer sunshine.

The supreme sparkle spray is the best thing ever you can use it on the coat mane tail face hooves the lot brilliant stuff.
I find it gathers more dust than any other product I have used. Maybe it just doesn't agree with shetland hair ?
I have been known to use Supreme Products Hi-Lighter gel though. You need some baby wipes and a towel handy! I rub it on the palms of my hands then run my hands down the area I want it on. Then scrub hands with baby wipes and a towel before touching anything else ?
I've never lived down suggesting my friend put baby oil on her pony when we were teens and great patches of its hair fell out.Bear in mind that some horses skin can be exceptionally irritated by baby oil.
I have another question ? Whats the difference between supreme products highlighter gloss vs highlighter gel vs eye gloss? Or also between their coat gloss vs spray n shine vs sparkle spray? They seem to have a lot of duplicate products and I'm not sure which are best!
Great thanks! Ill have a look!I think they have a video showing how to do the face makeup and that tells you when they're using which. I think I have the highlighter gel because it could be used more widely.
In the winter to make mud easier to get off I use Baby oil but I think it would burn in summer and not look as good so I use the SP Highlighter gel for his face and black points when showing.
