I been looking out for a long waterproof, nice hood, smart/fitted type coat. Saw this by chance a few days ago and ordered it. I didn't really want black but my size is sold out in the green.
Its arrived and is lovely, but, my first thoughts were its maybe going to be too warm for me- I'd have made do with that though because i usually take whatever coat i have on off to muck out etc anyway. Its also too big though, so the more fitted look i wanted is just a bit baggy!

I will return it and was going to just re-order a smaller one but wondered if there any similar but less padded suggestions before I do please?

Thanks I'll have a look. How did they come up size wise?
Pretty much true to size I'm a 6 or 8 I have 2 of the dynamic jackets the 8 is fine with a thin top or t shirt underneath but it's meant to be a fitted jacket, I have one in a size 10 and I can put several layers under that one.

Most of my le mieux polo tops are an 8 the normal t shirts are a 6.

I bought a weatherbeeta Kyla coat, and I live in it! Waterproof, warm, long, plenty of pockets, big, adjustable hood... Sizing is good too, I have arms like Mr Tickle and the sleeves actually come down to my wrists!

Whist expensive to buy, my Baleno coat has been super, now a couple of years old and looking good still - cost per wear is brilliant.

Agree, I love my Baleno Chelsea (knee length). Very waterproof, nice and smart, lined but no fill so it’s not warm (just how I like it). Keeps the wind out well and stands up to thorns and general wear.
When I saw them come up on sale I bought a 2nd one for when this one eventually dies. My first one was an absolute e bay bargain at £15!!

I bought a Kyla coat after recommendations on here last year. I love it, nice and warm, coped in torrential rain and lots of pockets. After 4 months of being my only winter coat (it had a rough season) the main zip went. I wrote to company I bought from hoping they could send me a new zip, they contacted weatherbeeta and subsequently sent me a new coat. Can't complain about that!

I just treated myself to a Weatherbeeta Kyla, after admiring it on a friend, and I love it. I really like the collar, it’s really good at keeping out chill winds, and the sleeves are nice and long with good cuffs to keep me cosy. Plus it’s nice and long for riding in, and the magnetic closure of the back flap for when you’re not riding is clever.

Another vote from me for the Kyla. I bought one last winter at a bargain price from Decathlon after lots of positive reviews on here and it’s a great coat. We joke it’s our yard uniform as so many liveries have a Kyla.
