my cob is clipped in winter and is brushed in the morning and evening, i use profess sprays ect... but her coat feels a bit long and coarse, unlike my friend tb . why is this..? does your horse have this problem ..?

TBs and cobs naturally have differant types of coat. its just the way they are made. generally cobs have a coarser coat -which in turn makes them hardier than horses such as tb's.

I think it is because o9f the weather. My lads coat was lovely, he had his last full clip at end of winter and he is now getting thicker cause of the freshness in the air
