Taken from another forum. PM if spotted as I have a contact for them.
This is unbelievable but 2 cob colts (1 black and White, 1 Black) have been abandoned and they were in the barnsley North area, Brierley/Cudworth but are using the transpennine way and were last seen on a main road in Ardsley. I believe that the police managed to herd them into a field as they were holding up traffic. These colts are scared and unhandlable, mainly because they have been shot at (and one has a pellet embedded in him) and are being chased by youths on motorbikes and dogs. In addition to this one has a headcollar fastened around his neck that is very, very tight and looks like it may be embedded. If you see them, or can look out for them please let me know. Initial vet costs will be covered and I am trying to persuade the powers that be to pay for their castration (but they have to find them first) Please be vigilant.
