Hi,

I'm looking to buy a new horse and like the sound of this one. He's 3yrs and 8 mnths

I am not sure that his back end looks right though. Can any cob fanciers critique for me please

nicely marked, + still lookin a bit babyish which is to be expected. his neck looks a little thick set at the top, can you fit two fingers in the gap above his jaw bone? if not he wont be able to round into an outline very easily as it will affect his breathing. he looks like he has a high wither, but that may just be the way he is stood in the top pic. + i agree with you on his back end, he is long in the loin + quite goose rumped, but that might just be becasue he is young + doesnt have much muscle tone at the moment. looks like he has a sweet face on him though!

He is gorgeous, don’t let the backend put you off, you should have seen Bodey when I bought him and he is totally different now with the right work and condition!

He looks lovely with a nice kind honest face. As Jobo says his backend will improve no end as he matures and with the right workload etc. Definitely worth a look!!

He's got a good front end with a nice sloping shoulder.
Yes, he is a bit goose rumped, but his tail is well set on.
From the under saddle photos it looks as though he moves forward well and is tracking up. He's not too heavy, which I like to see, and he's nicely marked to boot.
Looks as though he could make a nice horse.
Best of luck, whichever you decide.
