Could not believe the difference in Henry in less that three months. What do you think?

He's a proper handsome chap, you can tell in the first photo he's a nice stamp, nice to see it realised in the second! Do you know his breeding?

His passport gives no clue, but clearly there's an awful lot of Clydesdale in there :)

He has a Roman nose and the Clydie active knee movement.

He's my little ray of sunshine, so clever and quick to learn. Sharp as a knife, too. I only bought him as a toy, but he's suddenly become a really serious horse .

I am very, very proud of him, he's such a lovely little horse.

Heehee, well I'd have guessed there was a *smidge* of Clydesdale in there :) He's clearly made his mark on your heart, whatever his background, and rightly so! :)

Yours is lovely too. My friend found his advert for me. I told her there had to be four white legs :)

Our Henry was everything we didn't want- we were looking for a dainty 14hh pony for Al who was 11 and tiny small for her age. Henry, who needed extra-wide saddles and wouldn't have known dainty if he'd got in a fight with it, was not ideal!

Be careful with the feathers... Our Henry's were lucky. If they were trimmed he'd knock a pole at the next event! He went an entire summer without a trim once, and Al only gave in when we couldn't get his boots to do up over the fluff!

I forced myself to trim the mane hair on his wither which was getting caught under the saddle, but nothing else is coming off :)

Hmmmm - I think you've grown a little too tall for him and really should send him to me!

Gorgeous.

I heard a rumour that he wants to move to Devon :) just let me know when to collect. You've done some good magic there, he's lovely.

I have asked him this morning and he says that rumour is totally unfounded, and he is very happy in Cheshire at the moment, but thank you for the offer, and if the food rationing here gets any worse he will be in touch :)

Oh no! You've been infected with the "cob" virus! There is no cure; you'll be a carrier for life :-) Nice cob, BTW.

oh wow hasn't he grown up lovely :) I have the cob virus again. I got it years ago and eventually shrugged it off. its back with a vengeance now

You're so right. It's a serious affliction. Having been infected many years ago, I've desperately looked for a cure. I love owning WB's and TB's and yet when I see a hairy, coffee table legged, sofa-backed coblet, I yearn to own another to go with the Hairy-Spare I keep by default.

Is there a cure ?

no cure and the only way to manage it is to give in and get one :)

I think it may be age related. I started with the symptoms about your age. Wait a few years and you won't want a cure. It's a bit like being a zombie, I think, it's quite fun after you get used to it.
