Just a quickie as I need to get ready for my party
Diva as usual was a little star as I made my double novice debut!
The going and warm-up was wet with lots of puddles but she just trundled round like a little bog trotter and me clinging on for dear life
Warmed up nicely if a bit soggy, then in for the first test which was Novice 32, did a really lovely test but as usual I went wrong! Came second with 68.6% but soooo gutted as I would have won if I had not gone wrong with 69.8%. My best ever affiliated Novice score so absolutely thrilled!
Second test I went wrong again! but I blame my mother-in-law who was my caller! She has now been sacked!
Did a really sweet test - her mediums were like being on a plane taxiing for take off! and she really looked after me.
Aboslutely gutted to see I got 59% with the judge saying I went wrong twice even though I just circled once to re-pick up the canter
I lost 6 marks and if I hadn't I would have got 61%, still think it was bit harsh esecially as once again the collectives in both tests varied so much.
Had a lovely day as quite a few friends were competing so glad we gave the area a miss!
