Last night was show jumping night again, Gypsy came charging down the field when we hitched the trailer up, then proceeded to take himself into the trailer, on his own  I knew it was going to be a good night, the sun was shining and pony was in a good mood. Got him out the trailer (!!!) groomed him, got him booted and suited ready to go and once again he took himself into the trailer! I think somethings wrong with him... over the past few years weve had to wait forever for him to get in, ranging from 5 to 45 minutes, and now hes going streight in?!

Anyway, he travelled great as always, got there, had to drag him out of the trailer away from his hay, to another haynet outside and tied him to the trailer (hey is the only thing that keeps him attached to the trailer... we've tried without and he taked his headcollar off :o )

Booked in just to the 2'9 class, tacked up, did a couple of clear rounds to warm up (ive had to start rejecting clear round rosettes because im lost on places to put them ;) )

There was a very scary filler that ive had my eye on all night, with a lot of horses spooking at it and stopping at it, i knew it could be a problem so as soon as i got into the ring i took him streight to it to have a sniff and off we went. His over enthusiasm at fence 1 caused a bit of trouble to fence 2, the scary filler jump, so i had to go a long way around to steady him up, rather a lot. Got him back to a trot to fence 2, and he FLEW over scary filler :D
We went clear up to fence 8, so we had to carry on to 12, which has only ever happened once before ;)

WE GOT A DOUBLE CLEAR :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Sooooo proud of the wee coblet, his first ever clear, and we were even in 4th spot for a while, but got knocked out due to time, but we dont care, I'm just happy he went around :)

He stook like an angel while we ate, and loaded well too, even in the dark :)

A picture, as always, i need to stop buying these, but at £2.50 for an internet download, how can I resist? ;)

Ets, the picture is of the scary filler, but you cant see it from this side. But I figured out how he copes with the scary ones now... He closes his eyes :D
