I'm starting up a new clique, so if you have a cob and you compete in dressage, please put Member of the 'Cobs can do Dressage too' clique in your signature

what about scroogie? he's a brabant/boulanaise and does dressage and show jumping in an effort to knacker (and supple him admittedly but mainly tire him out) him for his real job as a driving horse. Some people would class him as a cob... dont know tho.

I've known a few cobs, hogged and welshy cobs do medium and above.

Lol I will, here's my boy doing stressage:

With my cousin on board, I prefer jumping

(PS Love all the recent cob posts, any excuse to post pics!!)

both mine have done/do dressage. the old boy did it to Medium and was very successful. New boy will be better if he can get over his spooks.

OK SJ_S - how do I do it? What bit in user options do you go into to add a text line or are you gonna have to do it for me like you have so brilliantly done my entire siggy???? God I'm useless!!!

Well I am hoping to get my boy out over the winter indoor series, he is just started work in the school after being broken earlier in year.
WIll plan to do a bit of everything - but saw my friend ride him yesterday in school - first time ive seen anyone half decent on board and quite impressed with how active his hind leg is in the trot - fingers crossed it will only improve. he already has a good natural walk, not cantered yet in school as soo greeen.

Cobs are fabby - he is my first one but already know they are great allrounders.

I'm planning on doing my first interdressage test with casper this week and then a local RS test in September so I'll wait and see how we get on before I add it to my sig!!
