Cockapoo vs poodle exercise needs

My family and I are looking into getting a dog, and so far we can't decide between a poodle and a cockapoo, so I was wondering how much exercise a day would be needed to keep both breeds happy and healthy (also to stop a cockapoo from being crazy like a lot of them I know). We can give 2-3 countryside walks a day, with 1 being around 3-5 miles depending on the day and the others being shorter. The dog will also probably be going on weekly runs of about 10km, and they will have lots of playing time too. Which breed do you think we would be able to better meet its exercise needs?

Thanks!!

My poodle (large toy) an hour a day, split over two walks, weekdays. Sometimes a little longer but he’d then have a shorter walk the next day. If you were doing a 10km run once a week I think a large miniature or a Cockapoo crossed with a miniature not toy poodle would be better. Never over exercise a dog. You could walk them further and tire them out but then they’d get fitter and need more exercise. My dog trainer always says you’ve then got an athlete on your hands and that’s a problem. I would say you need to tire a dog out mentally not by trying to exercise it. Do short bursts of training to tire their brain, training whilst exercising them and when at home too. Looking forward to seeing photos. I live on a small estate of 93 homes and 3 have recently got puppies, all cockapoos. The oldest and largest one is a bit of a handful at the moment but he’s only a babe. He goes to the same dog training place as me. Research the local dog training places and do take them for a while. The place I go to has a FB group and so if you’re having issues you can post on there. It’s really useful ? Mind you, you can always ask for help on here as well ?
