Has anyone used Tildren in conjunction with coffin injections for arthritis in their horses? Does it help or make the injections last longer? We had my daughter's Oldenburg injected with it and just wondered if anyone else had good results. It is not FDA approved here in the states so we had it special ordered. Thank you

Sorry can't help but just wanted to wish you luck.

My horse had tildren three times in a year (to get as much as poss from insurance claim) but this was for hocks. But my horse has moderate to severe arthritis in his coffin joints (apparently) and yet has only had two injections of steroid in nine years. I don't think I knew you could have it for coffin joints. Maybe the tildren from his hocks went to his coffin joints as well, the vet explained something about the fact that tildren goes into the body and seeks out the places it is needed.

Out of interest did you notice your horse was weeing for England afterwards? Or the States for that matter!

Thank you. He didn't have any side effects. It seems to have worked well. We are just waiting to see if it lengthens the time in between injections. Everything I have read about it has been pretty positive.

Mine did! He had a systemic perfusion of Tildren and I was so worried by the amount he was peeing that I had a blood panel done to check for kidney damage. Nothing, luckily.
