Hi, apologies for what may seem like a repetitive post, I can't find the information I'm looking for.

Competition horse has just been diagnosed with the very start in coffin joint arthritis in both front legs, at this stage, retaining a positive outlook on short and long term options as we start our journey, understanding that all horses react and respond differently.

I am keen to provide the best chance possible, specialist vet recommendations are Cosequin ASU or Synequin. Considerable reading suggests that Cosequin ASU and Cosequin ASU Plus are much better than standard Cosequin. I am stuggling to find a supplier of the ASU/ASU plus in the UK. Can anyone help or advise of an US supplier that would be prepared to ship.

Other option being Synaquin that I can source in the UK, appears to be similar to the standard Cosequin.

Thank you in advance

My horse was recently diagnosed with articulate ringbone, so guess we have been looking at similar stuff.

I'm getting his ASU from supplement solutions and feeding flexibility as the glucosamine supplement.

There is a study on Glm due to publish before Xmas and they have advised positive early results.

Best info source I have found is "The Horse", a US magazine and website.

Clients horse has just had IRAP and it seems to have worked. He is a 14 year old Intermediate event horse - quite a worn horse but it has definitely made a difference to him. He is also much happier in hiimself and has put on quite a bit of weight which he also needed to. Almost certainly pain related. Diagnosed MRI etc. so knew he had significant arthritic changes in coffin joint . It is expensive and he is now on a herbal Arthritis and Rheumatism supplement. PM me if you want to know more.
