Does anyone have any experience of this please?

George was diagnosed with this in his near fore back in June when the vet diagnosed his hindlimb psd, he was probably 1/10 lame in front when they did his nerve blocks for his hind legs. Vet was confident that the rest and rehabb for the psd and some graduated egg bar shoes in front would sort the problem out. It seemed it had, rehab was going well and we had our first canter in early Jan :)

He then went lame with a corn in front which cleared up, but still lame and positive flexion test, so vet thinks synovitis is the problem, so on thurs he medicated the joint with hyonate and steroid. Need to rest for a week and then see where we are.

I am concerned the medication won't work, or if it does that it is just masking another problem. This is compounded by the fact that my insurance company won't pay out as they say the synovitis was caused by the hindleg psd and that claim is already maxed out.

Any help/advice gratefully received - thanks.
