Hi,

I'm thinking of getting some cold boots for use after xc and fast work and I was wondering which ones are worth getting.
I've seen some that also say they offer compression/support etc too to aid recovery, has anybody seen or used ones like this?
I don't mind spending a bit extra if its really good, but obviously don't want to spend out on something that's not gonna last or doesn't work very well!

Thanks!
:-)

What sort were you thinking about? The ones you freeze, or the ones you soak in cold water?

Either, I just wondered which ones people rated best really!
I don't have a fridge in the lorry but I can keep stuff cold in a cool bag if needs be.

I've got the harpley equestrian cold water boots - you soak them in cold water for about 35 minutes and they swell up then put them on your horse for 20 minutes. i think they are fab as no refrigeration required and they stay cold for days! Try to avoid letting your horse step on them as this will squeeze the jelly out of the boots through the stitching!
premier equine also make a similar kind but haven't tried those
