Cold Water Tail/Dead Tail/Limber Tail

Erm, i thought aspirin was supposed to be dangerous for dogs?
sorry kirstyhen, can't help on this one, hope he gets better soon. i think i'd be applying hot and cold packs to it if he'd let me... will he park his bum on a warm-waterbottle?

Aspirin is fine Perilli,not to excess of course,but as a pain/inflamation first aid it is truly very underestimated; bull terriers get dead tail sometimes,not through water,most of them loathe cold wet water! They seem to do it by a knock,and an aspirin an a night`s sleep usually does the trick.Being bullies of course,there are no dramas and whining..just a doleful expression and "oh bugger,me tail don`t work".

Aspirin is very dangerous to cats,and for dogs Paracetemol is a huge no-no,as is Ibruprofen.
