I’ll have to leave my Lurcher in the car for a while on Monday it’s going to be really cold. 3’. She’ll have an equafleece onesie on and a padded coat I’ll put her a hot water bottle in too and she will have had a walk and some food. How long would be ok? Don’t want to stress her.

The dog will be absolutely fine. Presumably you will have driven some distance to wherever you need to park up, so if you have the car heater on for the duration of the journey it will be like a sauna with all the added bits that you describe! :)

Personally, though, I wouldn't leave a dog with a hot water bottle. Try one of those heated pads or discs that you can get that you shove in the microwave instead.

My lurcher has to wait in the car for around an hour or so several times a week (he can see me as i do jobs) i wrap him in an equifleece if it’s below 1 degree, and he has a duvet, this morning he was cold and was really shivering until the car warmed up, luckily I had a thick sweat rug in the car which I wrapped him up in.

But, he’s used to it as he won’t be left in the house on his own so when I don’t have a babysitter for him he comes with me
