Cold weather (rant)

Can we expect to see any more hot weather? It was blo**y freezing today. I went with YO to see one of her horses being prof. schooled (lovely yard, fab facilities) but i swear the place had to be the coldest place in Britain.
I have spent the evening sorting out my winter clothes.

My little welsh boy stinks, and needs a ful bath but I don't want to have to rug him up and wait all day for him to dry in the stable(as he's still a baby and freaks at rugs) so i'm praying for a hot day. He still hasnt 'quite' lost all his winter coat and I recon another week of this and he'll be hairy again.

i've had maddie's BRIGHT pink lightweight on the past 2 days.but her bunch just more grazing so i took it off because she's looking a little podgy. but i think tonight's the coldest it's been in a while..maybe should have left it on.
a couple of horses have had medimweights on because they're too cold!
 
It has been a bit cooler, but noway is it cold enough for rugs here yet

It has rained twice in about 6 weeks, we have no grass still

I don't mind the weather being a bit cooler - but hate it when it is so grey and wet and depressing like it was yesterday

yes, I don't mind the cold, but not in August!! I must get myself a new winter coat. If I was freezing yesterday in my old coat then I'm gonna really feel it come october. brrr.
 
I can't win, it rained at the weekend, horses came in saturday morning cold, tuned otu with L/W, two out of the four came in sunday morning frozen, so they had M/W on, yesterday it was cold in the morning and then turned really nice and warm last night, so out they went without, today it HORRID, can't win, hate it when it's like this, prefer it to be either warm and sunny, or cold and nice clear blue sky.......

i love the colder weather too, you can always put more clothes (rugs) on, but when it is hot there is a limit to what you can take off. This is much more comfortable to work in
 
We are always moaning aren't we!
I have to say bring on the rain as we have had no where near enough! I love summer, winter, autumn and spring, thats why i love britain, you get abit of everything!
even though its cooler im still hot!
