Use to live in the States where they get some seriously cold weather.
given that horses are less inclined to drink very cold water, various strategies are used there to encourage the horses to drink.
Adding hot water to the bucket is the most obvious. Another, is adding apple juice to the water bucket. I'm doing both - horses at home - but thought the apple juice idea might be of help to those whose horse are in livery.
