Doesn't sound fun at all. Would it be mean to say its sunny down here?

well where i am it has rained solid for 4 hours - stopped so thought i would run up to lads and get them sorted - get on my wellies and coat - drive the 3 miles to the paddock -to find brilliant sunshine - had not rained and was scorching hot - drove back - to dark, cold and wet

surprising just what a diff a few miles makes

Put my two out this morning - we had to take the long way round to the field as MoM can't manage the scramble up the bank opposite the house. FB was overjoyed and ran about bucking and farting, within half an hour the heavens opened and when I looked out they were huddled under the trees looking the picture of abject misery with FB looking folornly towards the house over his shoulder. So we had to go and get them in and put them back in their stables, bloomin' Southern Nancies they are!

All ours have been in today, they were shivering under the trees this morning so tucked them all up in bed with plenty of hay. Just got back from putting them all back out, albeit with light rain sheets on and it's just started pouring again. Oh well, looks like they might be back in tomorow morning

Yup my 3 came in at lunch time, after it started hailing gobstopper sized hail stones, they were not impressed, and poor D was cheesed off completely as the hail had made his sunburn on his nose worse. They went back out with rugs on after they had dried off and are now in for the night as the fields are soggy and i dont think its fair they should sleep on wet ground. Plus its going to be chilly tonight too.

Bloomin weather, I thought about putting his lw on this monrning, but it was warm so did not bother.

We went out for the day and it rained buckets, so I could not put his rug ontonight due to his soggy state.

Luckily it seems to be warming up a little.

To make me even more mad, I have been asking other half to rpai a hole in the roof, he has not done, and I now hve a pan in the living room collecting rain water, ahhhhhhh

Same here, rained non stop all day, they have shelters but the new yearling has decided it is much better to stand outside it??
Did go out and lead her into it and stand awhile until she fell asleep in it but as soon as I came out she followed and stood back in the rain? Silly moo.

ABsolutely miserable here as well..................was my first lesson on Saturday since January due to horsey problems, typical! We got soaked but it was brilliant to be getting back to normal with the big lad.
