BBC weather app shows temperatures dropping from next Sunday.

We're forecast sleet and snow here on the 25th and 26th!

I suppose the mild weather can't last forever and my hairy beasts will be happier that's for sure.

At the moment it’s far too mild for us. Very strange. We are forecast 12/13c with rain next week. We really should be probably no higher than 8c during the day. I went to the shops the other day with just a sweater on and it was warm! Very nice actually but more so like a September day.

Thats the thing, it's been lovely having a mild autumn but it means my lot are hot and hairy and still on their summer diets.

Once the weather turns colder they're happier and I can relax a bit.

Here's hoping! Fed up of this mild 'nothing' weather......mare has come back into season, am about to do my 3rd clip on the cob as sweating buckets, and both bales of haylage have heated up and ended up chucking the end of both.

The only good thing is that the grass is still growing and have plenty of on the spring paddocks already (but equally means come spring there will be too much and they will be fat knackers before the growing season really starts!!!!).

I've had to put sweet itch rugs back on after my mare self harmed in a big way at the weekend, so yes please to colder weather. I had started to wean them onto winter grazing after the last cold snap, but had to stop, much to their disgust!
