Coleman Croft Saddlery. HELP!

Hello everyone!!

I was just wondering whether anyone had had prior experience of coleman croft saddlery? I ordered a magennis snaffle from them yesterday, and paid £12.50 for next day delivery.

Am yet to have got anything through in the post, and have tried ringing and ringing on this number 01707 274 239, both yesterday and today. It is on both their emails and websites, yet no one has answered the phone- they do not even have an answerphone. Have also emailed twice, with no response.....

Would be ultra grateful if anyone could shed any light on this for me? Have they gone bust? Are they known for bad service? Just slightly worried that I cant contact them at all!!

aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!! really needed that magennis for tomorrow, as the boys both share one, and they are going out together tomorrow.

The actual shop closed down around xmas time, I went to buy some of the stuff they had in the sale at half price. The girl working there said the owner was going to keep the name going but just do internet on-line sales.

That is the number I have for them, but when I rang after xmas to see if they were still open, there was no answer two days running.

Sorry, can't be of more use.
 
Oh god!! I had absolutely no idea- the website looks like everything is operating as normal?

Has anyone got any prior experience of a situation like this? Bit tricky really- how do i contact them/ get my money back? Very scary :(
 
Its been like a morgue there for the last few years - same stock slowly dwindling-and it used to be a fantastic placve.

Did you buy it on your credit card ? If so you should be able to get your money back through the credit card provider. If not keep hassling them you should get the item or your money.
 
Although they are not trading from the shop, I wouldn't necessarily worry as she did say they were carrying on doing on-line. If you only ordered it yesterday, maybe it didn't get to the post office in time for next day, or maybe the courier company has messed up?

If it doesn't come by Thursday THEN panic! Otherwise fingers crossed, it's annoying it hasn't come in time for you tomorrow if you paid extra, but it might be in transit.
 
Just a warning to everyone....

Still no magennis. I noticed that the coleman croft web page has the BETA stamp of approval, and gave them a ring. Apparently they have sent coleman croft numerous "cease and desist" orders, but have had no answer- phone or email since before christmas. It seems as if they have done a runner but are still taking orders!!

Dont think i will be seeing that bit then!!

I ordered some xc boots off here a month ago & still havent arrived, i cant even get on the website anymore!
Thats so annoying, how do i get my money back? :/
