just bumping up my post - http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5145115/an/0/page/0#5145115
Called vet at 8 pm on the phone said she was probably haning a spasm - (standing quietly not eating, no intrest in hay) after 10 mins she was stood munching hay again alot better.
Been down at 10pm to chk her- she was standing still again, no other signs of colic - ate a couple of carrots showing a bit of interest. Not eating hay, few gurgling noises when ear to stomache area.
This is my situation - i live 5 mins away in the car but i have hardly any petrol left after making 4 trips there and back today - live ages from petrol station (middle of nowhere) would prob just have enougth to get there and get back tonight but would struggle tomorrow and have no-one to take me
(will have to send someone the station with a can tomorrow)
so do i presume she should be ok and its another spasm and because shes not showing any obvious signs other than standing quietly or risk breaking down in the snow?
i can chk her at 7am? am really worried
