colic or is it? also ink vets

hi,

we have a mare up my yard who seems to colic alot but it seems very strange because it is every 2 months and between the dats of the 19th-27th.

would you say this is more of a cycle problem rather than colic? she is on limited turn out, she is in a pen for 4 hours a day due to thinking it was grassy colic,

any advise much appreatied.

that doesn't really fit in a hormonal cycle, if that is what you are thinking. Is there any other event which happens on or around your yard with that type of regularity?

that is why it is a mystery also she is pooing ect as normal.

Having limited turnout certainly wont help!!!!! she needs to be moving!!!! And a supplement like Coligone may help!

she has got suppliments to help her with colic dont know what its called but it was vet recomendation to have limited turn out but she is let out loos on the yard as we ahve a gate so she can't escape and no grass in there either.
