Can anybody help me? I took my daughter out on her pony today, he is a little welsh sec a, he is a very greedy pony and usually dragging me whilst I lead into the bushes to grap a mouthfull of foliage. Anyway today he kept pulling me onto the grass verges, and just standing there, sort of looking like he wanted a wee, but just standing not wanting to eat just standing there. He done this the whole ride, then when he found a big enough peice of grass he got down and rolled with her on, and scared my daughter to death, she is only 4. He normally only has an hour a day on the grass, today he had 3 hrs, which makes me think it could be mild colic, but I dont understand the not wanting to stand on the concrete. He did also trash his bed when he stayed in his stable pm, which he never does. His feet were not hot and although he is fat, he isn't obese and does get ridden a lot by another girl at our yard. He has never had laminitis before. Any ideas what could have caused him to act this way?
