Colic or not?

So last night I woke up after having a bad dream and two hours later I was still awake, now within this time I heard my horse banging/kicking his stable a few times, I wasn't too worried at first as occasionally he will bang the stable once when getting up from laying down but last night overall I must have heard him bang at least 8 times over a period of approx 3-4 hours. I had an old horse that I lost due to colic and he used to kick his stable at night but it would be so bad he would put his foot through the wall. There are no marks on the walls after last night and there were approx 4 poo's in his stable this morning. I haven't seen any other signs but am really worried. He was covered in bedding from head to toe this morning so am concerned he was rolling due to colic!!
 
Yeah that is what I was thinking but you know how your mind worries especially when you have had a bad experience with it in the past and every time I just started to drop off I would hear him bang again!! Thanks :)

Oh I'd still be worried, and would have gone down to investigate.......:cool:
