Coligone for a windsucker?

The new horse I have windsucks alot - he wears a collar but I'd prefer to treat the problem and not just the symptoms...so ahs anyone tried coligone? I realise that windsucking is often common with gastric ulcers and being 1/2 TB that's soemthing he'd be prone to...

It is very good stuff for windsuckers as they often do this because their gut is tooacidic and hence uncomfortable and coligone helps sort the acid levels out. (with it's funk buffer raft and soothing agents thingy)

I can vouch for it really helping windsuckers! However you have to remember it can take time to work if the horse has been a sucker for a long time as it will instinctively suck "thinking" that it is about to get pain!

Very spooky was looking at this yesterday and was going to post! Once its stopped windsucking how long do you have to carryon feeding the coligone for, same amount or a top up dosage?

It works, I had my TB mare on it for 5 weeks and she has at the moment ( whispers "fingers cross") stopped, nothing has changed in her routine, but as soon as they start to come in at night time I will drop her back on it, to eleminate the problem before it happens. It certainly is worth trying.........

My horse is doing well on 20ml twice a day Kate, he would be very light though.
