My rising 4 yo has just come back from the vets after having peritonitis for the last 4 weeks and he was scoped yesterday.
It showed Abundant hyperkeratosis and scarring of the stomach and also squamous ulcers leasding into the intestines
He also has glandular ulcers, which apparently youg horses get. we are waiting for lung fluid to be tested at the lab to see if that may have been a factor in all of this as it came out looking like dish water.
So the long and short is, which of the three supplements would people recommend. I have spoken to Kate H's mum who has been extremely helpful. Just wondered about the U Gard and Neigh Lox. Anyone else had this with their young horse.
Poor boy has been so poorly the last month. He will do anything to get out of going to Boarding School
