collapsing hip

sorry if this is in the wrong place.

ive got a share for my horse, shes just come out of a riding school and seems to be collapsing her right hip.

any ideas on how to correct this?

No idea as I collapse my left hip and have been riding 20+ years! It's something that I really have to concentrate on but I don't take lessons anymore, I find i'm better with it now just with hacking out. It's toughened me up.

more work without stirrups in both trot and canter to strengthen the hip and lower back muscles and put the hips in the correct position.

I used to do this and had a few lunge lessons which soon solved the problem

I use to do this but it was due to the ligaments in my hips (one is 4 inch longer than the other!) but having been seeing my chiropractor regularly it has really help - and even thought I still do it sometimes I can feel it a lot more and am able to correct it.
