thank you for all the well wishes and good vibes 
i saw the consultant this morning and looking at it the bones have started to settle downwards but the ligaments are displaced and are pulling it at the wrong angle so soft tissue is in the gap and basically it wont heal left to its own devices.
i cant fault the NHS at all, i am scheduled for surgery 01.07.15 so a week to wait which is great, only 1 week of wasted time
i told them i want to be riding by then end of july and they didnt laugh in my face so we shall see!
i should only be in overnight, 2 nights at the most.
i am really pleased with the outcome tbh, they decided as soon as they saw the x ray today it needed doing and i was booked in within 10mins.
