Hi, i'm new to this. Just wondered if anyone has any experience in collateral ligament damage and the prognosis of coming back into full work competing dressage.

Thanks

A few of the Rockley Farm Rehabs have done so. I know of Bailey off the top of my head. There will be others on the Blog.

Hi

Our mare had collateral ligament damage to the coffin joint and despite months of box rest, shock wave therapy and a very controlled back to work programme only stayed sound for a few weeks and is now one tenth lame so is not ridden. We had a beautiful foal from her last year as she is very well bred. Now a companion to my daughters competition mare. We had hoped after no work and no shoes for two years now that she would become sound but alas no. I hope things work out better for you. There are success stories on here so do not give up.
