Merrist wood is nice, I also really liked Moulton college

Plumpton is quite nice, not as impressive as other colleges but a friend of mine went there and did really really well.

What course are you planning on doing? I went to Rodbaston college for my ND and started a degree at Moreton Morrell.

Moreton Morrell has a great rep with its college of excellence and everything. The horses are really nice. I feel like if your looking to have a hands on job like working on a yard with horses then they dont give you a real life experience so much.

Rodbaston was alright. The horses were rubbish but the lecturers were good. Horses change every year though so they might be better now. Moreton owns more horses than rodbaston so rodbaston rely on people putting their horses on loan. When I was there we had a bunch of inexperienced youngsters. Very few horses who could jump which wasnt good when the 2nd yr students were expected to jump a BE intro xc course and 3'3 show jump course.

I can't say which one you should go to - everyone's different. If you can, try to go to each college for one of their career or open days, and have a good look round, speak to the lecturers, and students if you can.
That will give you a better feel for where you'll be happiest.
Good luck with your studies.
