Browsing in a tack shop today and they had one in. Are they any good? They sell with 7 days to return if they don't fit do I am tempted but haven't heard of them before.

There is some kind of link with Wintec and Bates, they probably use the headplates. Budgetish leather sddles, as usual it all comes down to the fitter, and I'd always start with a good fitter rather than a brand that they MIGHT stock.

They are basically the Bates budget range. The leather isn't as nice but the fit is similar and the adjustable ones use the Wintec gullets. I had the Gp a few years ago and it was a lovely saddle, I certainly would consider one again.

Thats useful to know, if its still for sale in January, I'll give it a go.

Ive ridden in a Collegiate dressage saddle for 3 years and I find it comfortable and the leather is good and cleans up well...no problems or issues for me.

I've had a Collegiate Convertible dressage saddle for about 18 months. It's made by the same people as Wintec and Bates so has the adjustable gullet. My saddler described it as "a poor girl's Bates," although at £750 I'd hardly describe it as budget.......

Lovely saddle, as with all new tack it took a while to bed in and really feel like mine but it is very nice to ride in and is good quality supple leather. I'd definitely consider another.
