They look ok ish for a synthetic, I just wondered if anyone knew if they were similar to any others, ie the trees of the leather Collegiate, or Wintec, for example.
I've not come across them, I believe the company is related to Wintec/Bates so I'd suspect the same trees, however all the links here are broken so not sure if they're actually available?
All the links I have found seem to be from the US or Australia/NZ. I found an ex display one on eBay for a very decent price so I'm going to give it a look over - if it fits, great, if not it's not the end of the world! My horse actually fits a newer Wintec (Isabell Werth) really well - checked by a fitter who doesn't sell them too, so unbiased! - so if they are similar then fab.
They are lovely saddles, very well made and comfy. Not sure where you are based. I have one thats currently advertised for sale if you just wanted to have a look a it and see what they look like etc.
I did see a headplate somewhere and it looks like a Wintec one, so highly likely the same company or at least the same trees, though as I said the Isabell tree isn't in any other Wintec saddle so may not be in the Collegiate range.
The one I got hold of has arrived, it's brand new and actually looks a lovely shape - very squishy seat with nice (authentic!) synthetic leather seat and panels too. I took it apart last night and yes, the gullets look the same as the Bates/Wintec, but are fractionally shorter and the holes are again only mm different but they are not interchangeable. Just waiting for a wide gullet to arrive so I can properly try it on my horse. Fingers crossed!
