Just wondering if anyone uses either of these ranges and what they think of them?

I'm looking for affordable parts for two bridles - I don't want to buy a whole bridle as I use different sizes for different parts and already own nosebands that I'm happy with. (Many thanks to the clever people on here who suggested buying a drop

Both the ones mentioned above seem to be middle of the range price wise and I was wondering what they're like. Any other reccomendations that won't break the bank appreciated.

I've got a James Sterling hunter double bridle that I bought technically second hand (although in immaculate condition, I don't think it had ever been on a horse!) for £30.

It's been in regular use for over a year, in all kinds of weather and seems to be standing up well. It's lovely soft leather.

It wasn't a brand I'd ever heard of, just looked like a nice bridle at a bargain price (compared to the horrid stiff imported ones) and is doing a good job.

Both of ours have a JS bridle and they are great. I was really shocked to find out it was a shires brand as the leather is lovely. I do my dressage in mine.

Excellent, my mind is made up. My grackle noseband is a Collegiate and I'd say its OK, nothing great, so I'll go for the James Sterling. Thanks.
