Collie bitch looking for home, Yorkshire

An fb friend works at a boarding kennels. She has been looking after an 11 year old collie while the owner was in and out of hospital. It is no longer possible for the owner to keep the dog so she needs a home.
She is in good health and bright and active. Good with other dogs.
If anyone can think of anything. I have suggested the collie rescue place at Richmond (thank you Moobli).

So…. We took Bo and Luna to meet her today. They got on so well. She’s a lovely girl, and it is so sad as she is much loved. We are away for a few days later in the week and our two will be kennels. Wouldn’t have been fair to bring her home today and then send her away again, so we will pick her up once we are home.

Nicely socially distanced. Elle is the one at the back eyes on OH who has a ball.

We picked Elle up today. Seems like she’s been here forever already. Was very sad collecting her. Her previous owner is back in hospital and now at end of life. We will give her the best last few years we can and look after her. Have promised to keep in touch with the ladies daughter. She would have kept Elle herself, but Elle and her dog don’t get on.

Found Bo’s ball and wouldn’t give it back!

She is very lucky, and definitely looks like she has got her feet under the table already. So lovely someone was able to give her a home at the end of her life.

She won’t come upstairs, which isn’t a bad thing on older legs, and did cry when we went to bed last night and other two came up. OH was soft and spent the night on the sofa. Will see how we go tonight, but usually one or both go down in the night anyway.



She is getting on fine with Luna too, but Luna has decided to be camera shy at the moment. ?
