Your link doesnt work,I have australian shepherd and get fed up with everyone telling me hes merle collie x husky I dont mind people asking but they insist on telling what he is which is rather annoying :rolleyes::D

lol Ill book him in for my next holiday :D he was rescue/rehome his dad tried to kill him he nearly died twice, Id have another hes fabulous dog ;)
 
Okay thank you. I get so confused when people tell me he is not a pure collie because of how big he is, or that he is one of the border breeds ( that just out and out confuses me)

people are ignorant - the border collie is one breed within which there still exists a huge variation in type, to cater for the type of work they do; steep hills etc. Some work requires a small nimble dog, some a big rangier one. They do not all look like christmas card’s, eg black and white long coated. My smallest bitch is 11.3kg, in contrast a friend has a dog who is massive at 28kg and taller than a labrador!

these are all BC’s, the first 2 are not mine (pinched off google) but the group pic are all mine, they all look different and are all dual registered and very well bred.

Women who bred him kept him as her best pup but he annoyed hell out of his dad ,she came home one day to find him unconcious with his throat ripped out .She kept stud dog in run for while but decided it was kinder to rehome puppy.Fortunately it didnt make him nasty or nervous :):)
 
Collie or collie cross.

The English shepherd dog is an American invention - GSD x Collie x whatever else was at hand.
