Colloidal Silver

It was reccomended to me when Owen had a year of awful immunity and virus after virus. Since using it he has never had a virus since( 2 years now, touch wood) Everyone speaks highly of collodial silver, my friend with bad M.E also uses it for herself.
 
We used it when my cat got ill, but it didnt seem to help but then I think my cat was too ill.

We've also heard people swear of it. But surely for a horse, you'd need massive quantities (not the ickle bottle we have!) and it'd be very expensive?
