So, just finished reading a 15 page long Matchy Matchy thread and started to feel slightly depressed at our lack of Matchy matchyness...:D Since I'm going shopping and will probably end up with far more than originally planned, I thought I'd ask the advice of some expert shoppers to see what matching set ideas they can give me..? ;)

Here is the said ponios:

I love baby blue on my chestnut, doesn't sound great but looks lovely, he also has French blue, petrol, white and black. Not so keen on black but white looks very smart! My coloured is too young for matchy yet but hope that helps.

I don't use bandages so I have a couple of saddlecloth and ear bonnet sets for chestnut mare. Sadly I'm not very exciting colour wise (maybe I should be braver) and she has a black set and a white set.

She does suit green and I'm sure that yours would too. HKM's pistachio green was posted on here recently and I really liked it. Dark green also takes my fancy.

That bluey-purple rug looks fab on your chestnut so I'd go with something like that (may be biased - my poor girl has everything in purple as its my favourite colour).
On your coloured I'd say bottle green or burgundy.

I love this game!

GLW - It's a thermatex, I think they might do matching numnahs, and bandages...? And I know, this is the best game ever! Burgandy does suit him but I'm not sure whether I could get a set as it would be better if it was close contact because his saddle is..! Same for bottle green...I am partial to a bit of blue in him though and though I love green my old instructor used to say green in bad luck on a jumping horse!?

Faracat - I'm considering a cheap white saddle pad for competitions, nothing fancy but no black as they have brown tack, I'll see what green sets I can find!

STM - I love baby blue, my coloured (Trevor) looks great in all shades of blue, in my experience!

I tend to just buy lots of similarly coloured stuff, so even when we are not 'Matchy Matchy" we still sort of look it. :)

I have baby blue on my chestnut and my grey, they both have a black saddle blanket, my grey has a thin red one and a pink one... I have a french blue Anky set for my chestnut.

My boots are all either black or dark blue and I have black, white and french blue bandages.

Your horse is really cute!! :)

I like bright blue or emerald green for rangas :)

I was the same, he had all navy until I got a mono flap event saddle, my Numnah moved a lot under that so passed it on! The coloured just got a taupe/brown numnah for rallies and competitions, now I'm thinking Navy might an easy option...? But boring, I did see a bright blue set of tendon & fetlock boots, next is a matching numnah but I do love Anky pads!!

Help...!!

Oh me, me!

I also have a ginger snap and I love matchy matchy - my yard thinks I'm nuts :D

Bright blue/turqoiuse always looks lovely on chestnuts and must say it is my fav colour - I have the HKM Bright blue saddle cloth with matching jumpers bandages.

I also have burgundy - mark todd suede saddle cloth with jumpers bandages.

Dark purple, black, light purple, white and navy blue :D

Hoping to also buy matching bandages for my grey & lime green saddle cloths - I must be mad!

My yard says Matchy Matchy is pointless but hey, I think it looks great and usually costs the same as non-matchy Matchy so I'm thinking two sets of Anky pads - French blue & navy with bandages for the coloured plus something for my chestnut...? :/
