Hope this link works. This is Vasily. He won at Nottingham yesterday and earned me some cash as I'd placed a bet on him to win. :-D

I'm really curious about his colour. He's described as Bay but I suspect they only have so many colours to chose from and this boy is quite unusual. Really lovely looking little horse though and he won in a record course time.

Hello TrasaM Vasily is carrying the splash white gene and possibly Rabicano as well he a smart horse Weatherbys allow colours in like painted and skewbald piebald palomino buckskin cremello now there is no problem registering them at all

Hi Angrovestud. I was thinking of you when I saw him yesterday and told my OH about your coloured racehorse breeding. :) Vasily certainly stands out from the sea of bay TBs .

You sometimes see 'grey' tails on non-grey horses. It's called Gulastra plume and is caused by Sabino, which he certainly has due to his jagged edged white markings.

TrasaM I bet he does that's so nice to hear thank you ! we have a yearling at home who will be next to go into training following Rummys hoofsteps LOL X

He's a peculiar shade of Bay. It looked to have a grey/ black base as opposed to red- if that makes sense. .. There also appears to be white hairs in his coat but don't think you can see this from his photo. Thanks Faracat.
