What colour do you have for your Coloureds? My Nan has given me some money as a present to my Horse, to get some bits and bobs. I want to get a Numnah but don't know which colour, I was thinking Maroon would look nice. Anyone got any photos? She is a skewbald.

maroon or red could be really dodgy depending on how bright her coloured bits are. If shes more of a bay skewbald than a chesnut skewbald then you should be fine. I would stay away from cream, gold, yellow etc if she has alot of white as it would make the white look dirty

The big hairy is a skewbald/tri (with mahogony rich brown bits), I got him a couple of cheap numnahs from Lidls which are brown with cream/white binding, they look so smart on him that that is all I ever use (except for competitions). I personally prefer that as feel it doesn't distract from his colours, however on my old skewbald (see my album) I used to have a burgandy polypad that looked nice on him. :)

We had a bright bay skewbald and he was in red. Very sexy.

I'd just go with the same things you would for a solid horse. Purple and green look on on chestnuts (so chestnut skewbalds), purple and blue on grey (so grey skewbalds) and I'm a sucker for a black in green or red (so piebalds).

My friend has her piebald in black though, which does look very swish!
