colour genetics -coat colour question

my horse is registered as black on his papers, he doesnt seem to be black
i would say potentially more brown, but he does has some white flecks in his coat and one greyish pastern.
the inside of his ears it tan
what colour could he be

Black, as all other colours comes in different shades. Photos would be most helpful for the white flecks/pastern.

if you’re on your phone then screen shot the photo… the screen shot image is normally okay
