So I'm a student in my final year of Bsc Evolutionary Biology and I keep seeing these posts about colour genetics. It sounds fascinating and I can't believe I've never got into it before! I've just joined the Colour genetics fb group but would love some advice on good sites to look at to learn the theory or a generous soul who would like to run through it all with me. As I understand (correct me if I'm wrong)....there are 2 basic coats, Black and Chestnut, which have varying genes added on top to alter the phenotype? So there are several different genes interacting?
