Hiya, just a quick question.
Thinking of putting my mare in foal next season, shes bay..
So if we put a Palomino stallion on her, what are we likely to get, a buckskin?
Or am i talking out of my bottom?

Pleased it helped - from my knowledge of colour genetics you need to have a double dilute gene to avoid the solid (bay) aspect. With the palomino there is one dilute gene whereas with cremello/perlino there are two. Good luck.
 
You have to know more than just bay, if she carries a chestnut gene you could also get chestnut or pally, and there could also be a chance of black/smokey black.
