[/ QUOTE ]PMSL!! Mine did but I haven't opened it!!

It's cos I have managed to sell my other gaiters and jod boots that I bought that I feel justified on purchasing these ones!! hehe!!
[ QUOTE ]
Kim they are all delightful I have always wanted a pair of tredstep half chaps but never got around to buying some so firstly I am slightly jealous.

[/ QUOTE ]I have the suede tredstep ones in black already - 2yrs old but still going strong just a little faded which is a shame

I have always prefered black, however I am erring towards brown, have you got brown joddy boots? When I say brown I mean a dark chocolate colour. Black is more of a compety colour IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]Nope I need to but Jod boots too... although I do currently have black ones but I've had them since I was 16yrs old!! My dad bought them for me after my riding accident as they had steel toe caps!!

I have the Pro gaitors in black - love mine!
Took a while to break in (lots of rolling around the floor in bizzare positions to get them on) but are fab now.

Wear mine with a pair of Ariat boots.

[/ QUOTE ]LOL!!

[ QUOTE ]
I think the pro gaiters in black!! I have ariat boots which are lovely and i think they do steel toe capped boots too!!
grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]I think I'd have to stick with tredstep boots as these come down quite low. Thanks tho. xx

[ QUOTE ]
Ive just bought the pro gaitor ones and they are brill! I use them with the ariat performer III boot both dead comfy
smile.gif

Go for black!

[/ QUOTE ]Ahh so I don't need to stick with tredstep boots then? Hmmm!!

[ QUOTE ]
I've got the galway gaiters in black and they are great. I was told gaiters and jod boots would look better if you have big calves as full length leather boots tend to be too baggy round the ankle in bigger calf sizes and therefore don't look nice at all.

[/ QUOTE ]I have got no chance of finding a long boot to fit my strange shape!!
[ QUOTE ]
The gaiters are great, though a squeeze and a bit long but manageable! I've got the 17" calf size.

[/ QUOTE ]Mine need to be calf 17 height 15!! NICE!!!
[ QUOTE ]
have to say I'd like brown now my tack is brown but can you wear brown doing dressage or should it be black?

[/ QUOTE ]Don't ask me?! LOL!!

Ooo yeah - tredstep fit over ariat boots I think (airat boots much nicer IMHO)

Not that I'm biased or anything ahem. Don't think you can see mine in my sig

[ QUOTE ]
I would personally spend the extra £20 and get the ariat ones.

Tried the tredstep on and hated them - much prefer ariats.

Go for black though

[/ QUOTE ]Ariat what? Boots or gaiters?

If you mean gaiters then that is a def no go... they don't do my calf vs height

[/ QUOTE ]LOL!! Ariat fan!!

I do love Ariat but they just aren't designed for the shorter/chunkier rider!!

Ariat - for both really. But if I had to choose boots or gaitors - I would say boots - then get the tredstep gaitors.

Ariat do tall lengths too

[ QUOTE ]
Nope don't need to stick with tredstep if you dont want too!

[/ QUOTE ]Ahh just thought that they would 'go' better together... that'll teach me ey!!
wink.gif

Well I have ordered the front lace tredsteps and tredstep pro gaiters... will see how the boots feel as the last tredstep ones I had rubbed me REALLY badly

[/ QUOTE ]Ahh yes but I'm a midget... or so my OH keeps telling me
mad.gif
so the length needs to be SHORTER for me than they actually do

[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]I do have black tack.... and alot of it!! LOL!!

I have ordered black.. so will see what they look like on

why would you want a pair of £80 chaps if you dont intend to compete in them????????????????

can i have some of your money please?????
id love to buy a riding boot that will work out at over £100 just for general riding.

[ QUOTE ]
i've got two pairs of the galway gaiters and they are fab, when zips were worn out in old pair they replaced them for £10 and they are good as new again and the other pair i save for best!

[/ QUOTE ]Cool

mad.gif
BECAUSE.... they are actually the only chaps I can get that do my calf vs height size..... the standard suede are £60-70 so for an extra £20 - 30 I can get the leather ones... which should last longer!!!
[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]Erm let me think for a minute..... NO I don't have enough for you and my horse aswell!!!
