Do blagdon cobs grey out like regular white/grey ponies or could he keep his colour? He’s only four and super sweet.

It depends if he is also grey genetically.

The white spotting pattern in cobs I don't think has been identified yet for testing but if it's just that then no he will stay how he is. He might change shade a bit with winter/summer coat but he won't grey out.

If he has a grey parent there is a chance he might but difficult to tell without testing or knowing parentage especially with the amount of white he has.

If you want to know for certain, get him tested for the grey gene. If he has one or two copies of Grey he will grey out.

I’ve had the result back from Animal Genetics - g/g ???

The consensus on a fb group is black sabino. I’m over the moon that he’s going to keep his colour.
