colour question

my friend has a minature horse which is 6 months old, was born bay, mum is chestnut and dad snowflake spotted, she is now a kind of roan but grey with leopard type spots
and ideas what you'd call it? i'll try and get a picture to post
 
sounds a bit like an appaloosa just different from others my friend has a grey warmblood and he is an appoloosa as he is covered in spoldges of black and brown lol

appaloosa is a breed not a colour.

A white back ground with black or brown spots is leopard spotted.

Can't quite work out what colour OP is describing from what she says but there are a variety of spotted patterns including leopard spotted, snowflake spotted, blanked spotted, frosted etc
