I know this question is asked sooo much... but i'm afraid i'm about to ask it again!

Looking to buy a new tie and possibly shirt to compliment my tweed. Tweed is dark green with navy and gold stripes. Currently have a pale blue shirt, would this go? If not can buy a new one. Definitely need a new tie as borrowed last one! Pony is a grey connemara.

Have you been in charity shops? I've got a nice navy tie with little white dots, trying to think where it came from. It's a bit boring though.

I'd go yellow shirt, personally, but if you've got blue that will do.

I have the same jacket (or very similar) and I wear a yellow shirt with a navy tie, I also wear quite yellowy johdpurs and ride a skewbald.

Yes i think the blue is nice, however have seen yellowey shirts look lovely. Thinking a navy tie but cant find any nice ones without stars on them..!

buy a white school shirt from supermarket + wash with a couple new dusters = bargain yellow show shirt!! my tweed is a similar colour and I wear either yellow with navy tie or blue with red tie depending what's clean!

Oh and my ties were both from Tescos too :D

I have this jacket and wear it with a yellow shirt, and a blue shirt. I mix the ties, I have a blue one with yellow spots, a yellow with blue spots and a red with yellow spots.

I'm sorry, but I can't do the photo thing!

Thank you, do you know where you got your navy tie from? It sounds just like the picture I have in my head!

Cream/yellow shirt with a navy/green or red polka dot tie would look nice or a navy stock looks nice with that colour tweed.

If you have a spare white shirt with a good collar that you don't want, bob a new yellow duster or two in the wash with it and you'll turn into a cream/lemon coloured shirt.
