she is a chesnut but in the pictures and videos i have found she looks abit like a liver chesnut just abit lighter in colour

She looks liovely. I don't have a chestnut but I think they look lovely with brown tack and brown...umm everything really.

I have a chestnut and have both black and dark brown tack. As far as numnahs are concerned I stick to boring black or white for competitions.

But while at Badminton I found these bandages off the snuggy stand I just 'had to get'!! They will clash big time but I love them!!! They are pink with pigs on them!!! he he!!

The horse I ride is a chestnut mare. She has black head collar/leadrope/travel boots to go to a show, but a navy blue travel rug.
She has a black saddle (although it's faded a bit and erring on the side of brown now) and black bridle with a white saddlecloth. If she does have boots on their a royal blue

I think chestnuts look lovely in dark green, and some shades of chestnut suit red though

The horse looks a lovely type, enjoy!! The good thing about chestnuts is the choice!! Both black and brown tack looks good you can even go for the tobacco coloured items (i.e henri de rivel and stubben) anyway as far as numnahs, rugs etc well any colour really, I used to think the only colours that didn't go with them were red and pink but on the right tone of chestnut even these colours can look good!

I've got 2 liver chestnuts who both have brown tack. One has dark green 'accessories' and the other has royal blue.

Mine's a proper bright chestnut, I'm thinking royal blue looks best on him. And all his tack is black, even though he looks good in dark brown too.

My sister's liver chestnut pony and our friend's even darker liver chestnut though both look really good in red. Our's wears brown tack, and even has a really light tan saddle (which looks godawful on the rack but brilliant on him).

I think she'd look nice in red or green, with brown tack.
